CMo Kids – Hunting, Fishing and Camping Adventures for Special Needs and Terminally Ill Children
C. Mo Bucks met a young man a couple of years ago that could talk of nothing but his desire to go hunting. This young man has cerebral palsy and even though his father is a hunter the logistics of getting this child into a blind and providing the specialized equipment needed was out of reach for his family. C. Mo arranged a hog hunt and the look on this boy’s face when he took his first hog made all the extra effort worthwhile. CMo Kids was born!
Becoming a CMo Kid

You may be wondering just what a CMo Kid is? Well, we have created a place for handi-abled kids to feel empowered, have fun and act just like any other kid. CMo Kids get to go on hunts, fish, enjoy the great outdoors, go camping and many other activities throughout the year. Our goal is to make sure that every CMo Kid has fun and gets to do all the really cool things they have dreamed of doing. Then, we know you will tell all your friends and our CMo Kids group will grow because of kids like you. We hold numerous activities throughout the year specifically designed to introduce children with special needs to the natural wonders of God’s creation. Our volunteers are trained and committed to help each child fully experience their adventure. Whether it be providing adaptive equipment, modifying the environment or simply mentoring them through the necessary skills to fish, camp, hunt, etc., our volunteers want to assure that our kids have as much fun as possible.
Meet Jacob Hanni from St. Marys Georgia. Preparations are currently under way for young Jacob Hanni to experience a hog hunt.
Saturday (04/28/2012) was Jacob’s first day at the range with Norman Raber (C. MO’s Kids Special Equipment Engineer and Firearm Trainer) and his dad Gary Hanni, to get some trigger time and to do an evaluation of adaptive equipment that will be needed for his adventure.

C. Mo and the entire Bucks family, his wife Barbie Q. and the kids Carrie N. and Chase N. are all devoted to empowering handi-able children to participate in the outdoor activities we all love like hunting, fishing, camping and the great outdoors.
